World History 1 Basic

This first semester course offers the student ½ credit in the study of the major historical issues in the world. The student will investigate the history of man beginning with Looking at the World’s History, Ancient Civilizations, The Origins of Western Civilization, The Middle Ages, The Renaissance, and The Age of Exploration and Conquest. The student will study the rise and fall of major empires and their impact on the people of the world. The student will gain an appreciation of where we have been and where we are going.
