Students may earn .5 credit per semester while working. Students must work a minimum of 90 hours, provide the facilitator (teacher) with pay stubs or employer proof of work hours each pay period, must complete an application for employment, receive an employer review or feedback, and maintain employment throughout the semester.
Students are required to pass a final exam with a 60% or higher within 3 business days of completing the exam review. These exams are taken with an HHSO staff member, in our office or via online proctoring.
Yes. HHSO offers students support from our certified teachers and paraprofessionals for each course.
Yes, our general education and honors courses meet the necessary requirements set forth by NCAA. However, students needing NCAA courses are not eligible to take Independent Study (IS) or Credit Recovery (CR) courses.
