Which “End of Course” tests will students take?

Students will take an AzMERIT test in the semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer) they are expected to complete the full year for an ELA or Math course. Please be aware this means that students may be taking the test prior to completion of the B semester.

Once a student is enrolled in semester A for ELA or Math, they must take the B semester right after.

**AzMERIT tests are based upon course enrollment rather than grade level. This goes for 7th and 8th grade also. This means that is an 8th grade student is taking AZ-Common Core Algebra 1, then they are required to take the EOC Algebra 1 Assessment and not the 8th grade AzMerit Math test.
