Is Hope High School Online NCAA approved?
Yes, our general education and honors courses meet the necessary requirements set forth by NCAA. However, students needing NCAA courses are not eligible to take Independent Study (IS) or Credit Recovery (CR) courses.
How many hours do students have to work in their courses?
Hope High School Online gives you the freedom to make your own schedule. We require a minimum of 30 hours, unless otherwise noted. These hours can be completed anytime Sunday through Saturday.
What if my student wants to go to school online but we do not live in Arizona or he/she is over the age of 22?
If you do not live in Arizona or are over the age of 22 you may take courses through Blueprint Academy, our distance learning private school. There are tuition fees associated with each course. You may go to www.blueprinteducation.org to learn more about BPA.
What if we do not have a computer?
A computer with INTERNET access is required in order to participate in Hope High School Online. Tablets and iPads are not compatible with all assignments and tests.
Can I complete my classes early?
Yes! Students are given 6 weeks to finish 2 courses; if you finish one or both early, we will enroll you into a new course right away.
How do Hope High School Online classes work?
All HHSO courses are done completely online via our learning platform. Each course has a certified teacher who is available via email or by phone for questions and tutoring.
