When will the tests be given?

These will be given based on The Arizona Department of Education. Please be aware that students may be required to travel to in order to take the necessary tests. HHSO will determine the exact days, times, and location during the testing windows. For more information about state testing, please contact your academic coach.

How will these assessments be administered?

These tests must be proctored in person with a Blueprint Education staff member. Students are not required to bring any materials of their own as HHSO will provide everything needed.

Which “End of Course” tests will students take?

Students will take an AzMERIT test in the semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer) they are expected to complete the full year for an ELA or Math course. Why does Arizona need the new test?

In 2010, the Arizona State Board of Education adopted new standards in English language arts and mathematics for all students in Arizona. These academic standards outline what students should know and be able to do at each grade level.
